Fireproof technical room for pumping unit
The technical room protects, houses and secures a fire unit (pumps, motors, etc.).
Technical characteristics
The EUROSHELT60 L1M model outdoor technical room is dedicated to the containment of firefighting units. The structure with a white RAL7035 finish is made of steel profiles. It is adequately calculated to guarantee a fire resistance of at least 60 minutes (R60). Access is via an entrance door with dimensions (mm) 1000x2450h in painted steel.
- On the right side an opening, (on the left on request), with a double door to facilitate maintenance operations.
- Made with 60 mm thick EI80 sandwich panels with internal rock wool insulation (fire reaction classification A2 S1 d0).
- The remaining part consists of infill panels with 60 mm thick EI80 sandwich panels with internal rock wool insulation (class A2 S1 d0).
- The roof is made of an EI60 sandwich panel, 80+38 mm thick, with internal rock wool insulation (class A2) and a water collection system adapted to the structure of the room itself.
- The installation of special eye bolts facilitates lifting and unloading operations.
The components inside:
- Fire-fighting unit installed electrically and hydraulically inside the technical room.
- A uniform, non-slip floor made of hot-dip galvanized sheet metal.
- Water and liquid recovery system from the pumping unit
- Panel dedicated to the management and control of services and alarms in the premises of the fire fighting group.
- Lighting system sufficiently sized to guarantee 200 LUX inside the room (UNI EN12641), including a minimum emergency lamp. 25 LUX (UNI EN 1838).
- Heating system consisting of an electric radiator of appropriate size.
- Correctly sized heat extractor with gravity fins.
- Correctly sized heat extractor with gravity fins.
- Air intake grille.
The EUROSHELT premises must be placed on a suitable support surface (foundation). This surface must be able to provide adequate resistance to the static and dynamic loads of the pumping unit. On the sides, it is advisable to leave a useful external space of 1 mm. This space is used to open the panels for extraordinary maintenance. At the front, allow a clearance of 050 mm to allow the access door to open.
